The Dun Cow Promotional Offer Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all promotional offers (“Offers”) advertised by The Dun Cow (“we”, “us”, or “our”), including but not limited to “4 & 8 Night”, “Dessert & Wine”, “High Tea Sunday”, and “Burger & Drink Night”. By participating in these Offers, customers agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.
1. General Conditions
1.1. Offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn, amended, or substituted at our sole discretion and without notice.
1.2. Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer, set menu, voucher, or discount unless specifically stated.
1.3. Offers apply to dine-in customers only unless otherwise stated. Takeaway items are excluded.
1.4. Alcoholic beverages are only available to customers aged 18 years and over. Valid photo identification may be required.
1.5. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual at the discretion of staff or management, particularly where the licensing objectives may be compromised (e.g. disorderly conduct, excessive intoxication).
2. Offer Details and Timings
2.1 4 & 8 Night
Available every Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Includes:
Prosecco at £4 per glass
Cocktails at £8 per glass
Prosecco is served in a standard 125ml flute.
Cocktail options may vary and are subject to availability.
2.2 Dessert & Choice of Wine
Available every Saturday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Includes a choice of dessert and a glass of wine for £10.
The glass of wine is limited to a medium (175ml) glass.
Wine selection is subject to availability; alternatives may be provided at management’s discretion.
2.3 High Tea Sunday
Available every Sunday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The £15 offer includes a three-course high tea: scones with jam and clotted cream, assorted macarons, and a hot drink (tea or coffee).
Items are fixed and cannot be substituted.
Alcoholic drinks are not included in this promotion unless it is one 125ml glass of Prosecco.
2.4 Burger & Drink Night
Available on the designated burger night only (check with venue for dates) from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Offer includes one burger and fries, and a choice of one drink (beer, wine, or soft drink) for £15.
Wine is limited to a medium (175ml) glass.
Beer is limited to a pint of draught beer from the selection available.
Soft drinks are from our standard selection.
3. Additional Limitations
3.1. Customers may not substitute any components of an Offer unless at the discretion of management due to dietary requirements or allergies.
3.2. Each Offer is limited to one redemption per person, per visit, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3. No cash or credit alternatives will be offered in exchange for any part of the Offer.
3.4. Offers are not valid on public holidays, bank holidays, or in conjunction with private hire or ticketed events unless otherwise stated.
3.5. Promotions may be paused or suspended during seasonal or peak trading periods at the management’s discretion.
4. Liability
4.1. The Dun Cow accepts no liability for any losses or damages arising from the failure of any customer to adhere to these Terms.
4.2. We accept no liability for the unavailability of ingredients or menu items related to the Offers due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. supplier shortages).
5. Allergens & Dietary Requirements
5.1. Customers with allergies or dietary requirements must inform a member of staff before placing any order.
5.2. While every effort is made to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is 100% allergen-free due to the shared kitchen environment.
6. Responsible Consumption
6.1. All alcoholic promotions are subject to our commitment to responsible service of alcohol.
6.2. Management reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any individual where legal or licensing obligations apply.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
All offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn, amended or substituted without notice. Offers cannot be combined with any other promotional offer, discount, voucher or set menu unless otherwise stated. Dine-in only; takeaway excluded. Alcoholic drinks are served only to patrons aged 18 or over with valid ID. We reserve the right to refuse service where necessary, including cases of intoxication or disruptive behaviour. Each offer is available only on its specified day and during the listed times: 4 & 8 Night is valid between 6:00pm and 8:00pm only; Dessert & Choice of Wine Night, Burger & Drink Night are valid between 6:30pm and 8:30pm only, Three Course High-Tea is valid between 3pm and 5pm only. Drink offers involving wine are restricted to a maximum of a medium (175ml) glass. Burger & Drink Night includes one burger, fries, and a drink (choice of pint of draught beer, medium wine, or soft drink). 4 & 8 Night includes Prosecco at £4 and cocktails at £8 per glass, with options subject to availability. Dessert & Wine Night includes one dessert and one medium glass of wine for £10. High Tea Sunday includes scones with jam and clotted cream, macaron assortment, and a hot drink for £15; alcoholic drinks not included. Items in any promotion are fixed and substitutions are at the discretion of staff and may not be permitted. Offers are limited to one per person per visit unless otherwise stated. No cash alternatives will be given. Offers are not valid on public holidays, bank holidays, or during private hire/ticketed events unless otherwise agreed. Management may suspend promotions during busy seasonal periods. The Dun Cow accepts no liability for unavailability of menu items due to supply issues or force majeure. Allergen and dietary information must be declared to staff before ordering. We do not guarantee allergen-free preparation due to a shared kitchen environment. Alcoholic promotions are subject to our responsible service policy, and management reserves the right to refuse alcohol where necessary. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
